Employment: Full-time Experience level: Associate Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Assist in budget preparation and forecasting processes Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide insights Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax laws, and other relevant regulations Participate in month-end and year-end close processes Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Assist in preparing materials for internal and external audits Provide support for special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as needed
