Questions people actually ask

Is the first month really half price?
Yes, while the offer runs. The first month is $15 instead of $30, and the checkout takes it off on its own: there is no code to type and nothing to ask for. From the second month it is the usual $30, and cancelling before then costs nothing and takes one click.
Do I need a card to try it?
No. The free account asks for no card, has no time limit and does not quietly turn into a trial. It is the whole feed, every hour, for as long as you want it.
Why thirty dollars?
Nobody else pays us. There are no ads here, no sponsored postings and no recruiter money, so the subscription is the only thing keeping the hourly pass running over eleven hundred boards. One month of Pro costs less than an evening spent refreshing careers pages by hand.
Is there an annual plan?
No, and on purpose. People look for work for two or three months, not for a year. Paying for twelve when you need three is a worse deal dressed up as a discount.
What happens when I cancel?
Pro keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account returns to Free. The feed, the ages, the match scores, your saved jobs and your letters all stay. Only the new letters, your own companies and the alerts switch off. Cancelling is one click on your profile page, with nobody to talk to first.
Can I get my money back?
Ask within 14 days of a payment and it comes back in full, without a reason and with no conditions attached. Write to support@sottava.com and the money goes back the way it came. The full policy is on the refund page.
Who takes the payment?
Paddle, as the merchant of record for the sale. They take the payment, issue the invoice, and collect and remit VAT or sales tax where your country requires it, so your card statement reads Paddle rather than Sottava. Their buyer terms apply to the transaction itself.
How soon does Pro start?
The moment the payment is confirmed. Pro unlocks on the next page load, with no waiting, nothing to install and nothing shipped: Sottava runs in the browser.
