Accounting & Finance Specialist - France

Schedule: full-time Employment: permanent Years of experience: 1-2 Intro Hornetsecurity is a European provider of cybersecurity and cloud security solutions.  Present in 10 countries and with a team of 1,000 employees, including 200 in France, we need you. As part of the Finance France team, which consists of 3 people, you will actively contribute to maintaining the company’s accounting and ensuring the reliability of its financial data. Your Job On a daily basis, your main responsibilities include: Entering, checking, and processing supplier and customer invoices Managing day-to-day accounting entries Performing bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking Monitoring third-party accounts and following up on customer payments Controlling fixed assets Supporting the preparation of routine tax filings (VAT and other taxes) Preparing payment runs You will also be involved in monthly closing activities: Preparing and posting closing entries Reconciling and reviewing account balances Justifying accounts and analysing variances Monitoring provisions, prepaid expenses, and accruals Assisting in audit preparation and financial statements In collaboration with the team, you will also contribute to: The continuous improvement of accounting processes Optimising tools and working methods Ensuring the reliability of financial data Maintaining and evolving internal procedures Collaborating with internal teams on accounting and financial topics Your Profile Significant experience in general accounting Strong knowledge of accounting principles and key tax regulations (VAT, taxes) Autonomous in day-to-day accounting and closing processes Rigorous, organised, and recognised for reliability Comfortable in dynamic and fast-changing environments Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, common formulas) Experience with NetSuite is a plus Fluent in both spoken and written English Your Benefits International exchange program Health insurance & supplementary coverage (AXA) Flexible remote work policy Sports and wellness benefits (subsidy provided) Meal vouchers worth €10 (with €5.92 contribution from Hornetsecurity) 100% coverage of public transportation costs Joining Hornetsecurity means: Being part of a leading European cybersecurity company Working in an international, multicultural, and performance-driven environment Joining a learning organization where skills develop quickly Becoming part of a dog-friendly workplace
