Ad Operations Support Contractor

ChatGPT Ads Japan Location: Tokyo, Japan Engagement: Contractor Work arrangement: Hybrid, with three days per week at the Tokyo Midtown office ABOUT THE ROLE OpenAI is looking for a contractor to support ad operations for ChatGPT Ads in Japan. The primary focus of this role is responding to inquiries from advertising agencies and coordinating with relevant teams at our US headquarters to resolve issues and provide clear, timely updates. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Support agency inquiries related to ad review appeals and requests for re-review. - Investigate invoice-related questions and coordinate with relevant teams to clarify billing issues. - Gather information on technical issues in Ads Manager and coordinate troubleshooting and resolution. - Work with US-based teams to check progress, clarify next steps, and communicate updates to agencies. - Track inquiries and follow up through resolution. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Experience in campaign management, ad operations, or supporting advertising agencies. - Strong communication skills in Japanese and the ability to explain issues and next steps clearly. - Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple inquiries and follow-ups. - A collaborative approach to problem-solving across teams. - Ability to review and communicate information in English with support from AI tools. ENGLISH COMMUNICATION This role involves written communication with US-based teams. You do not need to write fluent English from scratch. You should be comfortable using AI tools to help draft messages, understand responses, and verify that the content accurately reflects the issue and intended message.
