AI Software Engineer

Employment: Full-time Visium combines strategy, frontier AI, and deep regulated-industry expertise to build and deploy AI-native systems that reinvent how businesses operate - unlocking the value of AI at scale. We're not a strategy firm that ships slide decks and walks away. Not a tech consultancy that builds what won't get adopted. Not a product company chasing problems it doesn't understand. We're all three at once: strategy, deep technical and integration expertise, and product, working as one. That combination is our flywheel. Consulting keeps us close to the hardest real-world problems. Products let us solve them at scale. Every engagement sharpens our products; every deployment makes the next engagement faster, deeper, and more certain. We're obsessed with outcomes. While 95% of enterprise AI pilots never reach production, Visium is built to be the 5% delivering productised AI that compounds in value, not point solutions that deliver marginal gains. We are AI-native, not AI-adjacent. We don't bolt AI onto broken workflows; we redesign them with AI at the core. Role As an AI Software Engineer at Visium, you will be the driving force behind designing, developing, and productionalising AI solutions that deliver real business value to our clients. You are the engineering authority on the team - setting the bar for code quality, architectural decisions, and modern AI patterns while actively growing the people around you. As an AI Software Engineer you will: Lead complex, end-to-end AI software engineering projects from scoping through production deployment. Champion and actively drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering across all practice areas. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing through tech talks, documentation, and community-of-practice sessions. Support internal R&D initiatives and contribute to Visiumee's capability development. Requirements To succeed in this role, you bring a combination of expertise, experience, and skills including: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with Python as a core language. Strong hands-on track record productionalising complex AI/ML projects (LLMs, ML pipelines, agents, etc.). Deep understanding of the current AI ecosystem - frameworks, tooling, and emerging patterns. Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proven ability to translate ambiguous business needs into robust, maintainable technical solutions. Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders.
