B2B Demand Generation Manager
Build the B2B marketing voice and demand engine for a growing fleet safety business. Urrly is hiring a B2B Demand Generation Manager for a long-established driver and fleet safety training company that has served customers since the 1980s and supports more than 5,000 active customers. The company is expanding from a historically order-driven business into recurring, technology-enabled fleet training programs for larger organizations.
This is a hands-on role for a marketer who wants to build demand in practical, relationship-driven markets: ambulance fleets, fire departments, driving schools, local governments, logistics and warehouse operators, and other organizations that manage vehicles and driver safety. You’ll turn warm customer relationships into credible stories, build industry presence through conferences and webinars, and create qualified sales conversations with the right accounts.
What You’ll Own
Build and execute B2B demand generation campaigns that create qualified leads, meetings, and sales pipeline.
Partner closely with SDR and sales teammates so marketing leads are actionable, well-defined, and followed up effectively.
Develop buyer-specific content such as newsletters, webinars, white papers, guides, blog posts, thought leadership, customer interviews, case studies, and sales enablement assets.
Help activate existing customers who are already warm to sharing their stories through testimonials, case studies, interviews, and conference-friendly content.
Own conference and event strategy: identify the right shows, plan pre-event outreach, support event materials, attend key events, capture leads, and run post-event follow-up.
Build and maintain target account and prospect lists using research, enrichment, CRM, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.
Segment audiences by industry, buyer persona, and funnel stage so campaigns speak to the right problems.
Track what is working across campaigns, lead quality, conversion, meetings, opportunities, and sales feedback.
Use AI and modern tools to move faster while keeping the work specific, credible, and grounded in real customer insight.
What Makes This Role Different
This is a hands-on builder role. You’ll write, build, interview customers, test ideas, prepare for shows, and improve the way the company shows up in the market.
The highest-return work here is relationship-based: conferences, industry partnerships, customer proof, webinars, and practical content that earns trust with fleet, safety, training, and operations buyers. Paid media, SEO, and e-commerce are not the center of this role.
What We’re Looking For
Hands-on B2B marketing experience in demand generation, growth marketing, content marketing, field/event marketing, or a closely related role.
Evidence that you have personally built or meaningfully contributed to campaigns for business buyers.
Strong writing ability and comfort creating original B2B content grounded in customer insight, clear positioning, and thoughtful editing.
Experience with content formats such as case studies, newsletters, webinars, thought leadership, educational guides, customer stories, or sales assets.
Comfort learning an unfamiliar market through customer conversations, subject-matter experts, industry research, and sales feedback.
Experience partnering with sales or SDR teams to connect marketing activity to qualified conversations and pipeline.
Ability to work with CRM, enrichment, email, automation, reporting, and AI tools to improve list quality and campaign execution.
Good visual judgment and the ability to create or coordinate polished, professional marketing materials.
Comfort working with significant overlap with U.S. business hours and traveling within the U.S. for industry conferences.
Backgrounds That Could Fit
Direct fleet safety, driver training, EMS, telematics, public safety, or transportation experience is a plus, but it is not required. Adjacent experience can transfer well, especially if you’ve marketed to practical B2B buyers such as industrial operators, automotive dealerships, facilities teams, property managers, logistics teams, or similar audiences.
Agency, in-house, freelance, and startup-style backgrounds can all fit if you can show strong personal ownership, real output, and an ability to get excited about a hands-on market.
Compensation & Work Model
Base salary: $90,000–$110,000
Bonus: 10–15%
Work model: U.S. remote, with significant overlap with U.S. business hours
Travel: U.S. industry conferences and events
