Business Analyst (Big Data Innovation)

We are looking for proactive Business Analyst to join our Big Data Innovation Team, focused on discovering, testing and validating high-potential Big Data products and solutions. You will turn market opportunities and innovative ideas into validated product concepts through customer discovery, business research, data analysis and experimentation, preparing successful concepts for handover to Core Product Teams. Responsibilities: •    Research market trends, customer needs, competitors and technologies to identify new product opportunities •    Conduct customer discovery (CusDev) and validation to assess customer needs, problems and proposed solutions •    Collaborate with Core Product Teams to generate, assess and prioritize product hypotheses and maintain hypothesis backlog •    Evaluate market potential, business value, data availability, technical feasibility and implementation complexity •    Analyze internal and external data, assessing its quality and suitability for new product use cases •    Develop preliminary business cases covering market size, revenue potential, costs and key assumptions •    Define success metrics and validation criteria; support experiments, prototypes and MVPs, analyze results and recommend next steps •    Translate business needs into product requirements, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria •    Collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering, Digital and IT teams on solution feasibility, data processing and integration •    Document validated concepts, findings and decisions; support handover to Core Product Teams for development and launch •    Track innovation metrics, including pipeline value, hypothesis validation, prototype/MVP lead time and conversion rates Requirements: •    2+ years in Business, Data or Product Analysis or similar role •    Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and ability to evaluate business opportunities •    Solid SQL skills and experience with large datasets, data structures and ETL •    Experience in market research, competitive analysis, customer discovery and business case development •    Understanding of product discovery, hypothesis validation, experimentation, prototyping and MVP development •    Ability to assess business value, data requirements and technical feasibility. •    Experience translating business needs into clear requirements and documentation (BRD, PRD, user stories, acceptance criteria) •    Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills •    Understanding of Big Data technologies, analytics and AI/ML applications •    Python, BI tools, Big Data platforms and telecom experience are advantages We offer: •    Work with Ukraine's leading mobile operator •    Remote work with optional office visits and flexible hours •    Competitive salary and annual bonus •    Paid vacation and sick leave •    Medical and life insurance •    Professional development and career growth •    Friendly, collaborative environment
