Employment: Full-time
Concord sits at the center of the credit market ecosystem. We provide loan servicing, backup servicing, and capital markets administration for specialty finance lenders, institutional investors, and asset managers. Our clients include originators across fintech, solar, home improvement, equipment finance, and other specialty asset classes. When a lender needs a trusted partner to service their portfolio or a trustee needs real-time reporting, they call Concord.
Our Mission
We exist to deliver exceptional servicing outcomes for our clients and borrowers by combining deep domain expertise, proprietary technology, and a steadfast focus on compliance, risk management, and client service. We aim to be the go-to partner across the credit lifecycle for both consumer-finance and commercial/lease portfolios.
About the Role
Concord is hiring a Business Development Representative to open new client relationships with specialty finance lenders and capital providers across the United States.
You will join the BDR team inside our sales organization and work alongside an experienced BDR, our sales leaders, and our marketing team. Your job is to identify the right accounts, reach the right people, earn their attention, and book qualified meetings for the senior sellers who own each vertical. Concord services and administers more than $60 billion in assets across 14 specialty asset classes, so you will be starting conversations about work our clients depend on every day.
Our buyers are senior operators: founders, CFOs, COOs, heads of capital markets, and heads of servicing at lenders and investment firms. Generic sequences do not work with this audience. Relevance does. The best outreach here shows you understand a prospect's asset class, funding structure, or a specific trigger in their business, and it gives them a reason to talk that respects their time.
This is not a start-from-zero seat. Over the past year we built a working outbound system: always-on campaigns for every persona we sell to, account-based programs run jointly with marketing, intent data that flags accounts already researching servicing, and enrichment that runs before you ever open a blank page. The system handles targeting and data. You bring the judgment, the writing, and the persistence!
What You'll Do
Generate qualified pipeline
Research specialty finance lenders and capital providers that fit our ideal client profile
Build and refine target account lists across our consumer, commercial, and capital markets verticals
Identify decision makers, map the buying group, and find the right way in
Book qualified meetings for the sales team and set clear context before every handoff
Carry a monthly qualified meeting target and own your pipeline contribution
Run considered, multi-channel outreach
Write outreach grounded in real research: asset classes, funding events, growth signals, and operating pain
Work accounts across email, phone, LinkedIn, video, and direct mail
Run high-touch plays on named accounts alongside always-on persona campaigns
Follow up with discipline over long cycles, because our buyers move deliberately
Test messaging, angles, and channels, then keep what works
Use the system we've built
Prospect and sequence in Apollo, with intent data surfacing accounts already in the market
Use Clay for account research and enrichment before outreach begins
Keep HubSpot accurate: contacts, activity, meetings, and pipeline your teammates can trust
Review your calls in Gong to sharpen positioning and objection handling
Send targeted direct mail and gifts through Sendoso as part of account-based campaigns
Partner across the go-to-market team
Work with marketing on campaign targeting, messaging, and account-based programs
Follow up on event leads and inbound interest quickly and thoroughly
Bring market feedback to sales and marketing so targeting and messaging keep improving
Work directly with sales leadership on priorities, plays, and pipeline reviews
Requirements
Experience: You have 1 to 3 years in an outbound BDR, SDR, or business development role and a record of hitting meeting or pipeline targets.
Craft: You write clear, specific outreach and hold your own on the phone with senior people.
Curiosity: You want to learn how specialty finance works: who lends, who funds the lenders, and why servicing matters to both.
Discipline: You run a full day of outbound without supervision, and your CRM reflects it.
Resilience: You hear no, not now, and nothing at all without losing energy.
Judgment: You know when to keep following up and when to change the angle.
Coachability: You ask for feedback, take it well, and apply it quickly.
Industry Fit: Experience in financial services, lending, fintech, or another long-cycle B2B sale helps, but we will teach the industry to the right person.
