As part of Business Development Spain, you will identify new opportunities, build strong relationships across the Spanish defense ecosystem, and turn complex customer needs into real business opportunities.
This is a highly commercial and relationship-driven role for someone who understands how business gets done in the Spanish defense sector. You will work closely with government stakeholders, defense organizations, industry partners, and internal teams to strengthen our position in Spain and build a solid pipeline of strategic opportunities.
At Destinus, we are revolutionizing the defense industry with cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovations.
What You'll Do
Drive business development activities across the Spanish defense market, identifying and developing opportunities aligned with Destinus' technologies and strategic priorities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Spanish Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces, government organizations, defense industry, and strategic partners
Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, operational needs, procurement processes, and upcoming defense programs in Spain
Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities, taking ownership from early market engagement through qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and contract award
Position Destinus and its solutions effectively with customers, partners, and decision makers, communicating complex technologies in a clear and commercially compelling way
Monitor Spanish defense priorities, budgets, procurement plans, competitor activity, and market developments to identify opportunities early
Coordinate closely with engineering, product, program, legal, finance, and leadership teams to develop competitive proposals and commercial strategies
Support tenders, RFIs, RFPs, demonstrations, customer meetings, industry events, and other activities throughout the business development cycle
Identify potential local partners and develop strategic relationships that strengthen Destinus' position and capabilities in Spain
Maintain accurate opportunity forecasts and provide clear visibility on pipeline development, customer engagement, risks, and next steps
Represent Destinus at relevant defense exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings, and industry events in Spain and internationally

Existing relationships within the Spanish defense sector are highly valued
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop customer relationships, and move complex opportunities through long sales cycles
