Job Description
Channel Sales at Wise Platform is a high-growth function. As part of our strategy to scale globally, we are expanding the team with a dedicated manager based in Austin, Texas to look at scaling the function in North America.
Our team’s goal is to accelerate the adoption of Wise Platform by leveraging a trusted strategic channel partner ecosystem to win new deals, shorten sales cycles, and scale through channels.
As the Channel Sales Manager (NAM), you will build, scale, and operationalise our channel sales function across the region. You will focus on identifying, structuring, and nurturing relationships across top-tier core banking providers, payment platforms, system integrators (SIs), and strategic consultancies.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Partnership Enablement & Operations: Own the governance, cross-market NAM coordination, and end-to-end lifecycle of new and existing partners - including commercial alignment, technical onboarding, contracting and launch.
Core Banking & Vendor Ecosystem Development: Identify and build strategic relationships with top-tier core banking providers (e.g.,FIS, Fiserv, Jack Henry, Finzly) and payment platforms to create pre-integrated connectors and scalable GTM pathways.
System Integrator & Consultancy Strategy: Build and execute go-to-market alliances with global and regional SIs and consultancies (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, PwC) that deploy technology for banks across Southeast Asia, India, and the broader NAM region.
BD Alignment & Pipeline Generation: Work closely with the Business Development team - passing on qualified leads, partner-sourced opportunities, and account intelligence collected through channel activities to accelerate direct deal flows.
Ecosystem Assessment & Immediate Impact: Take immediate ownership of active regional partner relationships and execute a comprehensive ecosystem assessment across NAM players to map out high-priority channel partners for discovery to bring into active execution..
Commercial Metrics & KPIs: Drive key commercial success metrics, targeting partner-sourced pipeline, time-to-live through repeatable integrations, and long-term transaction volume flowing through NAM channels.
What You Will Learn & Career Growth
High-Visibility Impact: Work directly alongside NAM commercial leads and global leadership to shape and scale the regional channel strategy from the ground up.
Cross-Functional Exposure: Collaborate daily across BD, Pre-Sales, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to build scalable commercial models.
Industry Transformation: Drive long-term impact on Wise Platform’s sales opportunities and sales cycle by shifting regional GTM from direct outreach to scalable, pre-integrated partner channels.
Qualifications
You have 5+ years in Fintech, Banking, or Enterprise B2B SaaS, with 3+ years of direct track record in channel sales, strategic partnerships, or ISV/partner programs.
Direct experience managing partnerships with top-tier core banking providers or major system integrators / strategic consultancies.
Strong understanding of how financial technology is embedded and deployed (APIs, core banking platforms, payment gateways).
Familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks and banking ecosystems across North America.
Demonstrated commercial acumen and track record of structuring commercial agreements, managing CRM pipelines, using financial modeling/forecasting tools, and driving measurable partner-sourced revenue growth.
High autonomy, clear communication, and proven ability to navigate complex corporate hierarchies and influence executive-level stakeholders.
Additional Information
Bonus points:
Comprehensive understanding of Correspondent banking  product and solutions
Experience working directly with Tier 1 or Tier 2 banks or at large fintechs in an enterprise environment.
Are familiar with regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, KYC, PSD2) affecting cross-border payments and banking operations.
Hands-on experience leading technical onboarding or implementation projects for complex API-based payment systems.
