The impact of the role: We are looking for a highly skilled Data Modeller to design and maintain enterprise and domain-level data models that support operational, analytical, and strategic business needs. This role will be responsible for establishing high-quality, scalable, and reusable data structures across the organization's cloud data platform. Experience with Databricks , Data Architecture , and enterprise data modelling practices is essential. On a given day, a Data Modeller will: Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise and domain-specific solutions. Develop canonical business data models that support cross-functional processes and data integration. Define data structures for Lakehouse environments built on Databricks and Azure. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into robust data models. Establish modelling standards, naming conventions, and best practices. Support the design of data products, reusable data assets, and integration models. Analyze existing data landscapes and identify opportunities for standardization and optimization. Document data lineage, metadata, relationships, and information ownership. Ensure models align with governance, security, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to architecture reviews and solution design activities. Requirements In order to be successful in this role you will need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in enterprise data modelling within modern cloud data environments. Mandatory experience with Databricks and Data Architecture principles. Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling methodologies. Strong knowledge of domain-driven design and enterprise information modelling. Experience with Azure data platforms, Data Lakehouse architectures, SQL, APIs, and data integration. Understanding of data engineering concepts including Spark, Delta Lake, ETL/ELT, and Python. Familiarity with metadata management, governance frameworks, and data quality practices. Experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, inventory, planning, manufacturing, or supply chain domains. Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity and solution delivery.
