Data Scientist

Employment: Full-time Job Description About the role: Data Scientist participates in the creation of our analytical platform serving the needs of AI model maintenance and development for all our Open Banking businesses throughout Europe (France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium). As our Data Scientist, you will use data analytical and visualization techniques to solve business issues in different geographies. The Data Scientist is able to understand the business needs and find the adapted data science approach to propose an appropriate solution. Main responsibilities: Analyze and explore data Produce and optimize data analytics models/tools; Together with the development team you will ensure high-level of scalability for our engines and ensure code optimization (RAM, cores, any IT resource) to have light engines; Run python-based analytical engines on a regular basis (monthly, weekly, daily) to serve countries and automate these run phases; Ensure that the code of their models is well documented, ready for production and can easily be maintained; Ensure interpretability of the models they develop, Identify potential bias and analyze model performance with regards to the business needs. Mentor Junior members; Qualifications Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related experience of at least 3 years Strong programming and scripting skills (Python), academic knowledge about machine learning, statistical analysis (AB testing, significance tests, among others) and quantitative analysis skills Knowledge of development pipelines (git, CI/CD) and agile tools (Jira), databases (relational and graph - vertica, oracle, SQL server), experience with ETL, knowledge of BI/visualization tools (Tableau Software, PowerBI) Good skills in collaboration, communication, adaptability and initiative spirit, high focus on delivery, with detail-oriented mindset Fluency in English – another European language is a plus Additional Information Benefits Full access to foreign language learning platform Personalized access to tech learning platforms Tailored workshops and trainings to sustain your growth Medical insurance Meal tickets Monthly budget to allocate on flexible benefit platform Access to 7 Card services Wellbeing activities and gatherings Company Description Inetum is a European leader in digital services.
