DevSecOps Engineer (Freelancer)

Employment: Full-time Experience level: Mid-Senior Level Job Description Are you ready to discover the role of a  DevSecOps Engineer in Netcompany? As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will: Effectively implement a DevSecOps strategy and processes. Develop tools and infrastructures in support of the system/component development. Analyse code and communicate reviews to development teams. Implement and maintain security controls throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), integrating security testing and vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines. Monitor and analyse system and application performance, security events, and vulnerabilities, identifying potential risks and coordinating remediation actions with development teams. Automate deployment, configuration, and infrastructure management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization technologies, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable environments. Qualifications What would make you a fit for the role: Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in DevSecOps or other similar fields. Thorough understanding of the SLDC. Knowledge of automation tools used to create continuous integration and continuous delivery Working knowledge of known DevSecOps tools like Git and GitHub, OpenShift, Helm, Kafka, Istio Capability for writing and presenting documents. Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring. Excellent communication skills in English. Experience in working in an international/multicultural environment.
