The Regional Marketing Manager is a key execution engine within MongoDB's newly created AMER Marketing Hub based in Mexico City. MongoDB is looking for a driven, analytical, and experienced Regional Marketing Manager based in Mexico City to join our high-performing AMER Marketing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving account expansion, developer groundswell, pipeline generation and deal acceleration across North America (US/Canada) while scaling impactful virtual programs across the region.
Working directly under the leadership of the LATAM Regional Marketing Lead, you will collaborate daily with AMER Regional Marketing Managers, ABM Leads, Developer Relations, and Marketing Operations. You will own, build, and execute integrated field marketing plans that encompass high-touch regional events (Developer Days, AI Builder Days, sponsorships, pipeline acceleration dinners) and scalable virtual initiatives (Skill Badge workshops and webinars).
Because this role directly owns field execution in US territories, on-site presence is critical. You will spend 20–30% of your time traveling to US markets to lead event execution, partner with local sales teams, and engage directly with developers, architects, and C-level executives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Execution & Operations
Build, own, and execute an integrated marketing plan for assigned territories in North America, aligning programs directly with regional sales goals and routes to revenue
Serve as a trusted partner to Sales leadership and Account Executives, understanding territory needs, strategic account challenges, and key decision-making personas
Manage the regional marketing budget for assigned programs, ensuring disciplined allocation, optimization, and strong ROI
Support MongoDB flagship events, regional roadshows, third-party conferences, and executive dinners
2. Scalable Virtual Programs & Developer Groundswell
Lead and scale high-volume, virtual engagement programs across NAMER, including hands-on Skill Badge workshops, technical webinars, and virtual enablement series
Build developer groundswell across assigned accounts, tracking and reporting on developers enabled and certified within the region
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Developer Relations, Product Marketing, ABM, and Partner Marketing) to deliver cohesive end-to-end buyer and developer journeys
3. AI Adoption, Process Innovation & Workflow Automation
Demonstrate strong curiosity and a forward-thinking mindset in the AI Era, continuously exploring and adopting AI tools and technologies to optimize daily marketing operations
Proactively identify manual bottlenecks and implement AI-driven workflow automations to improve process efficiency and team output
Operate with high autonomy, independence, and adaptability, maintaining the flexibility needed to navigate evolving GTM priorities, cross-border timezone alignment, and fast-paced regional requests
4. Data, Analytics & Performance Tracking
Track, measure, and report on program performance, MQL generation, pipeline creation, deal velocity, and Net Annual Recurring Revenue (NARR) influence
Utilize Salesforce, Tableau, and marketing automation tools to deliver rigorous quarterly retrospectives and actionable insights to leadership
Experiment with new campaign formats and iterate quickly based on data-guided insights
Deliver post-event performance recaps and highlight best practices that can be scaled across NAMER
Qualifications
Location: Must be based in or near Mexico City (CDMX)
US Travel & Documentation: Ability and willingness to travel 20–30% of the time to North America (US/Canada). Must possess a valid Passport and a US Visa
Language Proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal English fluency is required (daily interaction with US cross-functional teams)
3–6 years of B2B field marketing, regional marketing, or demand generation experience in enterprise SaaS, cloud, or technology companies
AI & Automation Mindset: Practical experience or strong proficiency using AI tools to automate marketing workflows, streamline tasks, and increase operational output independently
Adaptability & Independence: High degree of flexibility, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to work self-sufficiently across timezones and shifting priorities
Proven track record building and executing complex field marketing plans in direct alignment with Sales teams
Strong proficiency with B2B marketing stacks (Salesforce, Wrike, Tableau, Jira, and event management platforms)
Analytical and metrics-driven mindset with proven capability to prove ROI against marketing spend
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills with a positive, can-do attitude
Familiarity with developer, architect, or IT decision-maker (ITDM) audiences and developer marketing programs
What Success Looks Like in Year 1
Seamless onboarding into the AMER Marketing Hub and immediate operational partnership with US regional leads
High-quality, flaw-free execution of assigned Developer Days, AI Builder Days, and virtual Skill Badge workshops
Consistent achievement of SLAs for campaign setup, lead upload, and post-event reporting
Positive feedback and strong trust built across Sales and Marketing counterparts
