Full Stack Engineer (8 Month FTC)

About you: You care deeply about producing high-quality work that delivers real value You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems collaboratively You bring strong expertise in your craft, alongside a willingness to keep learning You communicate clearly and build trust quickly with clients and teammates You’re pragmatic, adaptable and outcome-focused You value low-ego collaboration and enjoy working as part of multidisciplinary teams Requirements What you’ll bring to the table: Demonstrate proven expertise in executing seamless, phased modernization strategies to transition away from legacy platforms like COBOL, Oracle, and PHP with zero downtime, utilizing feature flags (LaunchDarkly), change data capture, and shadow data reconciliation Architect and deploy scalable microservices using Java (Spring Boot) and TypeScript/Node.js on AWS EKS with Istio, alongside federated GraphQL via Apollo Router and RESTful web services Drive front-end excellence using modern React frameworks (Vite, Tailwind CSS, BaseUI), managing shared component libraries in Storybook, and championing robust automated testing with Playwright and Vitest Leverage deep cloud-native experience across AWS, Docker, Helm, Terraform, and Harness.IO, while managing databases like DocumentDB and PostgreSQL and migrating messaging workloads from SNS/SQS to Apache Kafka Analyze and reverse-engineer legacy codebases to surface hidden business rules, applying rigorous validation to ensure complete functional equivalence Design secure, high-performing hybrid architectures using mTLS links between AWS and on-premise infrastructure, conducting end-to-end load testing and ensuring system resilience Champion technical quality and governance by establishing clear quality standards, defining comprehensive test frameworks, and enhancing architectural documentation across teams Benefits AI Statement We champion tech that helps people work smarter, but we want to get to know you!
