Position Summary
Credence has an immediate need for an Installations/Infrastructure Manager to provide on-site, civil engineering readiness, infrastructure resilience, facility planning, and space-management support to the U.S. Space Force S4S S4 Directorate at Vandenberg SFB, CA. The manager will perform monthly readiness assessments and DRRS reporting, support contingencies and exercises as the S4 civil engineering liaison, advise S3 and S5 on moves. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
Responsibilities
Conduct monthly civil engineering readiness assessments under DoDI 7730.65, and CJCSI 3401.02B; identify critical force-capability deficiencies and strengths and provide complete, timely DRRS inputs and Civil engineering tasking responses.
Serve as the S4 civil engineering representative in the Future Operations Cell or Joint Logistics Operations Center during contingencies and exercises when directed; report constraints and recommend actions to S4 leadership.
Advise S3 and S5 on the reliability, resiliency, endurability, and survivability of real-property installed equipment, primarily power and HVAC supporting mission-critical assets and weapon systems.
Support long-range infrastructure planning and short-term component-headquarters bed-down projects.
Manage assigned civil engineering programs, plans, and initiatives supporting S4S missions and coordinate actions with Command, DoD, Service component, installation, and other stakeholders.
Compile facility and space requirements for S4S, USSPACECOM, and SpOC facility-utilization processes; support facility maintenance, repair, and office-space management.
Recommend office layouts and moves through floorplans and other visual media developed with government provided computer-aided design tools.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required before starting; ACCM and SAP access may be required based on assigned duties.
Must have substantial experience in civil engineering readiness, contingency planning, facility planning and management, infrastructure resilience, or closely related mission support.
Must have working knowledge of defense readiness, continency planning, facility planning and management, infrastructure resilience, or closely related mission support.
Must have experience evaluating power, HVAC, or other real-property installed equipment supporting mission-critical facilities and systems.
Must have experience coordinating across headquarters directorates, operational staffs, installation organizations, Service components, and mission partners during routine operations, exercises, or contingencies.
Must have the ability to develop or interpret floorplans and other facility-planning products using computer-aided design tools.
Must have strong analytical, written communication, briefing, coordination, and task-management skills, including the ability to work independently in a classified environment.
A bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, emergency management, logistics, or a related field is desired but not required. No specific certification is required.
