Through partnerships with hundreds of operators, service providers, hyperscalers, and enterprises, BICS delivers connectivity across 1000+ destinations and supports a broad portfolio of services including Voice, LTE and 5G Roaming, Cloud Communications, IoT Connectivity, Messaging, Mobile Identity, Signaling, Fraud Protection, and Global SIP Trunking.  You will work with the world's largest telecom operators and technology providers, helping to ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and security of international communications, while impacting how billions of people connect, communicate, and do business every day.  Beyond traditional telecommunications, BICS is at the forefront of enabling digital transformation, cloud interconnectivity, IoT ecosystems, and next-generation mobile services, helping customers navigate the evolving global connectivity landscape.  Become a part of the BICS community at Tieto Tech Consulting that has been growing since 2010 and enjoy the comfortable and stable environment where new ideas thrive.  When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Junior Telco Engineer You will provide L1 network support activities for voice and mobile services 24x7 Ensure re-active repair activities with customers, suppliers and third parties worldwide Monitor and investigate fraud events generated by the relevant internal tools (fraud detection systems, QoS tools and other tools) to identify the root cause and take decisions and resolution measures Define and implement improvements in the Fraud prevention services delivered to BICS’ customers Communicate with customers, suppliers in order to guarantee customer complaints resolution with SLA respect Who we are looking for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecom or equivalent 1+ year of experience in the operation of mobile or fixed networks as an engineer Knowledge of GSM NW structure, Signalling in GSM networks, MTP, ISUP/SIP, SCCP, TCAP protocol stack, voice call/SMS/ flow, working principles of IP networks Knowledge of the fraud prevention domain and the wholesale telecom business will be an asset Experience with signalling protocol monitoring tools, protocol analysers, trace analysis Knowledge of Network KPIs, analysis of statistics and reports Good written and spoken English As a person, we believe you are a team player who takes action and demonstrates responsibility to organize your work and solve your tasks.
