Lead, Compliance and Litigation

Employment: Full-time Experience level: Mid-Senior Level Job Description   Lead the Lahore legal team, provide strategic updates to senior leadership on legal matters, and conduct legal risk assessments across business operations to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and risk management protocols. Formulate and manage litigation strategies, overseeing external counsel, case progression, cost management, and legal outcomes. Ensure statutory compliance, manage sensitive law enforcement inquiries, develop compliance policies, and liaise with regulatory bodies and external partners to resolve legal issues proactively. Draft non-templated agreements and provide official legal opinions on complex commercial and regulatory matters. Mentor legal team members, foster professional development, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure consistent application of legal standards and operational adjustments.   Qualifications Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree required. Master’s in Law (LLM) or relevant post-graduate diploma preferred. 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate litigation, regulatory compliance, or legal counsel roles—preferably within a multinational, tech platform, or reputable law firm. Sound understanding of local statutory frameworks, compliance regimes, and protocols for handling sensitive law enforcement inquiries.
