We’re a technology company supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible. The role. We’re hiring a Local Delivery Driver to move customer orders safely and professionally from a Nox Metals facility to American factories. You will inspect your vehicle, secure metal properly, complete delivery documentation, and represent Nox Metals at every customer dock. Driving is only part of the job. You will coordinate closely with shipping, verify every load, and help ensure the customer receives exactly what was promised. You will: - Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections - Verify each load against delivery paperwork before departure - Confirm material is packaged, supported, and secured safely - Operate company vehicles in compliance with applicable laws and company policies - Deliver orders safely and communicate delays or issues promptly - Obtain accurate delivery confirmation and return documentation - Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and report maintenance needs - Assist with loading and unloading when trained and safe to do so - Provide professional service at customer and supplier facilities - Complete other tasks as assigned You are: - A safe, patient, and defensive driver - Properly licensed for the vehicle assigned to you - Dependable and careful with documentation - Professional with customers and teammates - Comfortable handling schedule changes without cutting corners - Able to inspect securement and speak up when a load is not safe - Comfortable using mobile software for routes, records, and communication - Able to perform the physical duties of loading support with or without reasonable accommodation Nice to have: - Commercial, delivery, or industrial driving experience - Experience hauling metal or other heavy material - Familiarity with load securement and customer receiving docks - Warehouse or material-handling experience - Comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter Benefits: - Equity in Nox Metals - Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance This role is full time, in person, and based in Los Angeles or Detroit.
