Local System Administrator

Employment: Full-time Experience level: Entry Level Job Description Are you ready to discover the role of a  Local System Administrator  in Netcompany? As a Local System Administrator, you will: Administer systems and applications with local operational impact, ensuring stability, performance, and security. Install, configure, and maintain system components and server software. Perform incident management, including analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of hardware and software issues; coordinate with internal IT teams and third-party vendors as needed. Integrate servers into the local IT environment and maintain up-to-date documentation, including server procedures and disaster recovery plans. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within a Windows environment. Monitor server performance and oversee the administration of local file and print services. Execute backup and restore operations for user data and system configurations, ensuring data integrity and availability. Monitor and manage network resources, including shared drives, printers, and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.  Qualifications What would make you a fit for the role:  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in system administration. Fluency in English and French (written and spoken), with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Advanced knowledge of IT hardware and software in enterprise environments. Strong expertise in Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SharePoint, and network storage solutions. Proficiency in IT management and monitoring tools, with the ability to work independently. Solid understanding of user administration, system security, and access control. Ability to produce clear technical documentation.  ITIL v4 Foundation certification is a strong asset.
