Essential Job Duties:
Preference for multiple modality certification (Dexa / CT)
Conduct imaging in accordance with Atria safety protocols, policies, and procedures
Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety
Assume responsibility for the safety of the patient during the imaging and communicate in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand
Except as authorized by clinical management, refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional
May help the team by performing other imaging modalities (MRI Focus, and CT)
Compensation Range:
$120,000 - $140,000
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Vocational or Technical School Diploma required
Current New York State License required
Current ARRT registration required
2+ years’ experience as a Radiation Technologist for DEXA Mammography
Experience with other modalities a plus
Compassionate and effective communicator with strong tact and diplomacy
