Employment: Full-time
Job Description
The Manager, Supply Chain (Distribution Centre) owns the performance of the pandamart distribution centre that supplies foodpanda Bangladesh's dark stores. You will own the DC's outcomes and the decisions needed to improve them, leading the DC team and working with DP, B2B, PLB (Private Label) and regional teams to get the right stock to every store on time. Every point of fill rate and availability you gain shows up in CX, and every taka saved in DC cost goes straight to the bottom line.
Responsibilities
Long-term Programmes: Define and execute robust long-term programmes for improving safety, CX, inventory accuracy and operational efficiency, and supporting growth.
Strategic Leadership: Lead and inspire the warehouse operations team to ensure timely dispatch to stores, precise inventory management and optimised operational efficiency, in line with organisational goals.
Process Innovation: Proactively identify and eliminate process bottlenecks, including in PLB packaging, using best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Financial Stewardship: Analyse detailed financial reports to identify trends, variances and opportunities for cost optimisation, providing insights to guide budgeting and resource allocation.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analytics to develop and monitor key performance metrics such as order accuracy, throughput and delivery timelines, driving continuous improvement and aligning team efforts with company objectives.
SOP Management: Lead the review and enhancement of SOPs with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, efficiency and adherence to best practice in warehouse operations and logistics.
Team Development: Build, mentor and manage a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
Change Management: Drive scalability and innovation initiatives, such as integrating new technologies, expanding capacity and streamlining workflows, while managing change to minimise disruption.
Customer-Centric Focus: Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring operational strategies improve CX and consistently meet or exceed SLAs.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with relevant local regulatory requirements, food handling and safety protocols, cultivating a secure and compliant work environment.
Continuous Improvement: Quantify inefficiencies from operational data and on-site observations, prioritise them, and apply the PDCA cycle to drive improvements.
Key KPIs: DC fill rate, DC availability, DC blocked stock, DC stock adjustments and DC cost. Monitor and analyse KPIs daily and weekly, ensuring progress toward goals.
Culture Building: Act as a culture builder, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
