About the Role
We’re looking for a Middle Backend Developer to join our Backoffice team and help us build and improve the technical foundation that supports our growing business.
You’ll work on backend challenges, develop reliable and scalable services, and collaborate with Product and business teams to bring ideas to life. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to technical decisions, improve existing systems, and grow your expertise in a supportive engineering environment.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Python 3.11 using Django / DRF
Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisions
Work with MySQL and Redis to build reliable and performant systems
Build and improve RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Business teams to deliver impactful features and automate back office processes and workflows
Investigate and resolve production issues, identify bottlenecks, and help reduce tech debt
Follow best practices in Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, GitHub Actions), and code quality
Contribute to improvements in our architecture, development processes, and internal tooling
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in backend development
Strong Python skills and good knowledge of Django (or similar frameworks)
Good understanding of relational databases , caching, and backend systems
Experience with REST APIs and service development
Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD practices, and modern development workflows
Good communication and problem-solving skills
English (B2 level or higher) and fluent Russian
Nice to Have
Experience working in fintech , regulated industries, or internal B2B tools
Familiarity with AWS , Docker , and message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka)
Contributions to open source or personal side projects
