Employment: Full-time
HR & Office Coordinator, Slovakia
The Role
As our team in Košice grows, we are looking for an HR & Office Coordinator to keep day-to-day HR and office operations running smoothly. Reporting to the group CFO, you will be the local point of contact for employees and managers, coordinating employment administration, payroll inputs, recruitment support and the office.
This is a hands-on role for someone who combines accurate administration with sound judgement and follows things through. You will work with local managers to agree day-to-day priorities, with support from group HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT and our external payroll partner. As the site grows, you will help improve local processes and give new colleagues a well-organised start.
What You'll Be Responsible For
HR
Prepare employment contracts, contract changes and other employment documentation using agreed templates and processes, with group HR support on Slovak employment requirements.
Track probation review dates and coordinate benefits administration, with decisions and approvals retained by managers and group HR.
Maintain accurate employee, attendance, working-time and leave records, coordinating with managers and payroll.
Provide complete monthly payroll inputs to our external payroll partner by the agreed deadlines.
Coordinate the required social and health insurance registrations for new starters, confirming responsibilities and completion with the payroll partner.
Handle employee information securely and confidentially, following GDPR requirements and group data protection processes.
Respond to routine employee and manager questions, and refer sensitive or complex matters to group HR.
Work with group HR and Finance to keep local processes aligned with group policies, track outstanding actions and flag issues early.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate interviews, candidate communication and local hiring administration with our Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding with managers, HR and IT, making sure employment paperwork, equipment, access and induction arrangements are completed on time.
Office
Coordinate day-to-day office needs with our serviced office provider and local suppliers, resolving practical issues and keeping the office ready for the team.
Coordinate required health and safety induction and training with the relevant providers, maintain completion records and refer specialist matters to qualified advisers.
Organise team events and visits from group colleagues, coordinating arrangements with local managers and the office provider.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Practical experience in HR administration or coordination, with responsibility for employment documentation, employee records and payroll inputs.
Fluent Slovak and strong written and spoken English, with the confidence to support local colleagues and work with group teams.
A working knowledge of Slovak employment requirements and payroll processes, and the judgement to recognise when specialist advice is needed.
Strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through and discretion when handling confidential employee information.
The ability to manage competing priorities independently, communicate clearly and ask for support when needed.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
Experience in a technology company or multinational.
Experience supporting a new or growing site.
What Success Looks Like
New colleagues arrive with their paperwork, equipment and induction arrangements ready. Employee records and payroll inputs are accurate and on time, required registrations are completed, and questions reach the right person promptly. The office runs smoothly, and managers can rely on you to follow through and flag issues before they become problems.
Salary: €1,500 - €1,800 gross per month (basic salary), depending on experience.
