Operational Excellence Lead

What you'll do You will be a trusted partner to senior leadership, you will identify, shape, and deliver a portfolio of strategic transformation plans that improve the way we work and the experience we create for our customers. Lead the roadmap, aligning transformation activity with strategic our priorities. Identify improvement opportunities using customer insight, operational data, financial analysis, and performance metrics. Lead large-scale transformation programmes spanning customer journeys, operating models, business processes, technology, and service delivery. Build compelling business cases and secure sponsorship from senior partners. Deliver complex Lean projects from initial diagnosis through implementation and benefits realisation. Champion automation, AI-enabled solutions, process mining, workflow optimisation, and digital improvement opportunities. Establish governance, controls, and process ownership to ensure sustainable outcomes. Be an internal consultant, providing expert guidance on complex challenges. Influence and engage partners at all levels, building understanding across multiple teams. Qualifications What we're looking for We're interested in people who bring a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence expertise, and leadership capability. You'll have: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with experience leading complex, cross-functional improvement programmes and delivering validated business benefits. Experience in Operational Excellence, Business Transformation, Continuous Improvement. Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving change within matrix organisations where resources are not directly owned. Experience delivering transformation across multiple areas, including customer journeys, operating models, business processes, technology, data, controls, and service delivery. Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and create compelling narratives that drive action.
