Oracle HCM Technical Developer SE1

Employment: Full-time Experience level: Associate Job Description As a part of Enterprise Applications Oracle HCM Tech Team, we are looking for someone having hands-on experience in Core HR, Absences, Approvals/Workflows, Payroll and Reporting (OTBI/BIP). The role focuses on technical configuration, data troubleshooting, reporting delivery, and workflow support in Oracle HCM Cloud. Support and maintain Core HR configurations including person data, employment, assignments, work structures, and actions/reasons. Troubleshoot transactional errors related to roles, data security, and workflows. Assist in quarterly update testing and regression for Core HR processes. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Fast Formulae for Absence calculations, validations, defaults, and conditional logic. Fair understanding of the over all concepts , root cause analysis and validations. Customization and review Redwood Pages Provide technical support for absence plans, accruals, eligibility, and validations. Investigate and resolve absence calculation and approval issues. Support absence data corrections using HDL where required. Configure and support functional approval rules for Core HR and Absence transactions. Troubleshoot workflow errors caused by security, routing logic, or data inconsistencies. Support notifications and approval related audit requirements. Develop and maintain OTBI analyses and dashboards. Create and modify BI Publisher reports and templates (letters, statements, operational reports). Ensure reports adhere to security, data accuracy, and performance standards. Execute and validate HDL data loads (workers, assignments, positions, absences, lookups). Perform pre‑load and post‑load data validations and reconciliations. Assist with transition and adoption from Responsive UI to Redwood experience, including regression testing and defect triage. Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and support SOPs. Handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs. Perform root cause analysis and collaborate across teams to resolve issues. Raise and manage Oracle SRs when required.   Qualifications Essential: Hands‑on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud . Strong technical understanding of Core HR, Absence Management, Approvals / Workflow troubleshooting, OTBI and BI Publisher reporting Experience with HDL data loads and error handling. Good understanding of Oracle HCM data model (person, assignment, work structures). SQL knowledge for analysis and troubleshooting. Experience supporting quarterly updates and regression testing. Familiarity with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, ADO, etc.).   Good to have: Integration experience with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) and understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Experience In various other Oracle modules Including Security, UK Payroll, Compensation, Performance, Absence Familiarity with different software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc) Experience with Redwood UI & Oracle AI Experience working in ServiceNow & JIRA for development and support Additional Information At Entain, we know that signing top players requires a great starting package, and plenty of support to inspire peak performance.
