Principal/Sr. Staff Forward Deployed Engineer（具身智能AI前沿部署工程师）

Employment: Full-time Experience level: Mid-Senior Level Job Description 请求职者投递中文与英文简历 As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) for Physical AI and Robotics in China, you will work on site with robotics companies, research labs and automotive OEMs. You will use Renesas's agent-based AI platform to deploy, optimize and validate their AI models on Renesas SoCs. You will integrate these models with ROS 2, robotics SDKs and simulation tools, lead proofs of concept through to measured results, and turn field feedback into product requirements. Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years in embedded AI or robotics/ADAS software deployment Hands-on model compilation, quantization and optimization (e.g., MLIR, TVM, TensorRT) Practical experience with agentic AI and LLM-based development tools Strong Linux, Python and C++ skills; ROS 2 experience Customer-facing technical experience; able to work on site with customers Preferred Skills Experience with LLM, VLM or VLA models on edge devices Simulation tools (Isaac Sim / Omniverse), HIL validation Porting from CUDA/NVIDIA to other AI accelerators Background in automotive SoCs or functional safety Involvement in open-source, developer-community or university collaborations Additional Information Renesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider driven by its Purpose, To Make Our Lives Easier .
