Product Manager, Automotive AI | Melbourne CBD About this opportunity: Podium is hiring a Product Manager to own our automotive products in Australia, including Operator, our AI-powered employee, and the next wave of AI products for dealerships. You’ll shape how AI helps dealers respond faster, convert more enquiries and deliver a better customer experience, working closely with engineering, design, data, sales and customer success. What you will be doing: Define the strategy and roadmap for Operator and our automotive AI products in Australia Set goals and metrics, and track adoption, conversion and revenue impact for dealers Define how AI handles automotive scenarios such as vehicle enquiries, test drive bookings and service appointments, including quality and escalation to human staff Work with data and engineering teams to evaluate AI performance and prioritise improvements Conduct weekly user research with dealer principals, sales, BDC and service teams Communicate goals and results to the executive team and across the company What you should have: 3-5 years of product management experience in a fast-paced environment Experience on messaging platforms or tools and growing user adoption Experience shipping AI, LLM-based or automation products, or a strong understanding of how they are built and evaluated Strong grounding in customer research and prioritisation Ability to communicate and present across multiple levels of leadership Right to work in Australia What we hope you have: Experience in automotive retail or dealership software Familiarity with Australian dealer groups, OEMs and common DMS/CRM platforms Experience with SaaS products for small and medium-sized businesses Why you’ll love working here: Own a product area where AI is changing how local businesses work Real autonomy and visibility in a growing market Ship fast, learn from real customer conversations and iterate Benefits Open and transparent culture $650/month health and wellbeing allowance, spend it your way 4 weeks of annual leave Melbourne CBD office on the corner of Queen & Collins St, with end-of-trip facilities and bike storage Snacks and drinks always stocked Catered lunch the last week of every month Podium is an equal opportunity employer.
