What You´ll Do
Assemble and lead a production team of up to 50 employees.
Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Provide mentorship and training to team members.
Manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, maximizing productivity.
Develop and implement lean and continuous improvement principles to enhance efficiency in production processes.
Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure timely and quality output.
Develop and monitor production schedules.
Oversee inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary components without overstocking.
Implement and oversee quality control procedures.
Create detailed technological process maps.
Optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including military, security, environmental, and industry standards.
Implement and maintain safety protocols to protect employees and prevent accidents.
Plan and execute the production line setup within the stipulated time frame.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., R&D, procurement) to ensure smooth operation.
Handle budget management and resource allocation.
Requirements
What You´ll Need
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, specifically in aeronautical assemblies, metal fabrication, or machinery manufacturing.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing teams of up to 50 people.
In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
Excellent project management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CAD, ERP systems).
English and Spanish proficiency.
