QA Automation Lead with AI Agent Testing experince

Employment: Full-time Experience level: Mid-Senior Level Job Description The Lead QA Automation will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the automated testing strategy for the organization and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated testing solutions. This position demands a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of test automation frameworks, software development life cycle (SDLC), and a proven track record of successfully leading automation initiatives and and the ability to mentor and guide team members. You will be a key player in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of software releases while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement an automation strategy aligned with overall testing and development goals. Design and develop a scalable and maintainable automation framework using Cypress. Oversee the implementation and integration of automation tools into the testing process. Lead the development of automated test scripts using Cypress for functional and regression. Review and provide guidance on coding practices to the automation team. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing. Collaborate with the QA team to develop test plans and strategies, including automation test coverage. Ensure test cases cover functional, integration, and regression testing scenarios. Investigate and report defects and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues. Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, providing guidance and support. Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and management. Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss testing strategies and release planning. Provide training to team members on automation best practices. Maintain documentation on issues, resolutions, and improvements in the automation process. Ability to independently develop and execute automation scripts in Cypress Executes automated test scripts and report defects, ensuring that the product meets quality standards and adheres to defined requirements Work together with software developers to enhance and improve programs.  Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements. Regular work on optimizing automation code quality and improving reliability indicators in the development process.      Qualifications Required Skills 7+ years of experience as a Lead QA Automation Engineer, end-to-end quality driving and automation strategy. Strong coding expertise with ability to design scalable automation solutions. Strong hands-on experience in Playwright or Selenium for automation. Hands-on experience with Typescript for building structured, reusable frameworks. Deep understanding of API automation using Type script, including schema validation and integration testing. Excellent debugging and troubleshooting across UI, API, backend, and environments. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions or similar tool Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code, and enforce coding standards across the team. Proven ability to optimize test execution, eliminate flaky tests, and improve automation reliability. Good understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline creation, version control, and environment configuration. Strong working knowledge of Jira for test planning, tracking, and reporting. Good understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP for test execution, environment setup, and tooling integration. Familiarity with AI-assisted automation tools (self-healing tests, AI-driven script generation, Copilot) to accelerate productivity. Additional Skills Exposure to ETL/ELT testing is a plus Basic knowledge of OWASP Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) etc. Additional Information This job is open for Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida, Pune locations.
