QA Networking Engineer

Employment: Full-time Experience level: Mid-Senior Level Job Description Test design, test plan development, and step-by-step documentation for new and existing features. Execute tests on both existing and in-development Checkpoint products and features. High orientation to details and user experience. Ability to plan and execute tests for complex features in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA testing. Self-learning capabilities of new products and technologies. End-to-end ownership on bugs found, from documentation to fix validation. Maintain a high level of quality according to the Checkpoint Quality Assurance standards. Seek continuous education opportunities on new solutions, skills, and technologies to be incorporated in Q.A. testing Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in working with networking, different operating systems (Windows, Linux) In-depth knowledge of networking and protocols, including a strong grasp of TCP/IP fundamentals and widely used protocols such as DNS, HTTP(S), SMTP, FTP, and VOIP (SIP, H.323) The advantage for applicants with knowledge in Site-to-Site VPN The advantage for applicants with knowledge in Dynamic Routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, etc. Very good English skills (spoken, written). Availability for a full-time position, overtime may be required on occasions.
