Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Company: The Santana Institute for Learning, a Finni Health company Job Type: Part-time Schedule: Friday and Saturday, 2-3 hours per day (possible 3rd day for an additional 2 hours; up to 7 hours per week) Location: In-person (in-home) – Seal Beach, California Pay: $25-$27 per hour Are you passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential and ready to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team! This position involves working one-on-one with a client to support skill development, communication, and independence using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. About the Role As a BT, you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, track progress, and support the development of essential life, communication, and social skills in a structured and encouraging environment. Key Responsibilities - Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision - Collect and record accurate session data - Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals - Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families - Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to ABA and special education Qualifications - Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred) - Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred) - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required) - Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred) - A background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial) What We Offer - Supervision toward BCBA/BCaBA certification - Consistent daytime schedule - Career growth opportunities within a supportive organization - Ongoing training and supervision by experienced BCBAs - Company-provided iPad Background Check All candidates must pass a background check.
