OUR MISSION AND VISION
At Solidgate, our mission is clear: to empower outstanding entrepreneurs to build exceptional internet companies. We exist to fuel the builders — the ones shaping the digital economy — with the financial infrastructure they deserve. To achieve that, we’re on a bold path: to become the #1 payments orchestration platform in the world.
We believe the future of payments is shaped by people who think big, take ownership, and bring curiosity and drive to everything they do. That’s exactly the kind of teammates we want on board.
We're building the #1 payment orchestrator in the world — and the names behind us prove it. Clients include Bolt, Ajax, Nova Post, MEGOGO. Trusted by giants like J.P. Morgan. Ranked #2 in the "Employer of the Year 2026" award by Forbes Ukraine.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Regulatory Compliance Officer to help us stay ahead of the curve in a fast-moving regulatory world.
This is not a narrow, operational role. You’ll cover the full cycle: from the moment a new regulation appears to the moment it’s embedded in how we work. You’ll figure out what it means for us, where to start, who to involve, and how to push it through to delivery. Compliance here is a competitive advantage, not a roadblock, and you’ll make sure we stay compliant without losing speed.
You’ll own critical regulatory reporting, build and streamline processes, and partner with Product and Tech to make compliance simple, scalable, and smart. You’ll also get a rare opportunity to launch new financial services, lead licensing processes, and drive initiatives from concept to delivery.
If you love decoding regulations, take ownership, and want a seat at the table where decisions are made, this is where rules meet revolution.
What you’ll own
— Own regulatory reporting for the EMI: accurate, complete, and always on time
— Lead the full cycle of regulatory change: from a new regulation to its implementation in the company
— Keep our internal policies sharp and aligned with CBC, CySEC, EBA, and EU frameworks
— Review new products and processes to ensure they meet all regulatory and compliance requirements
— Run impact assessments for product launches and operational changes
— Build compliance processes together with Product, Finance, and Tech teams and embed them into daily operations
— Support audits, inspections, and reviews: prep, respond, follow up
— Drive ongoing due diligence and risk monitoring for merchants, partners, and providers
— Keep track of all regulatory communications, approvals, and reports
— Constantly improve our controls, tools, and processes to match best-in-class standards
You’re a great fit if you have
— Degree in Law, International Law, International Business or Relations, or a related field
— 3+ years of experience, enough to run processes independently, know where to start, and drive stakeholders to results
— Solid grasp of regulatory frameworks and compliance principles
— Strong analytical skills and extreme attention to detail
— Resilience to deadlines and the ability to deliver in tight timeframes
— Comfort with dynamic work and a high sense of responsibility
— Excellent English (B2+)
— Willingness to learn fast and take ownership
Nice to have
— Experience in fintech, payments, or EMI environments
— Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting (a big plus)
— Familiarity with AML/KYC and client due diligence
— Experience with policy development
— Compliance certifications (ACAMS, ICA, etc.)
