The posting, as the company wrote it
Help more engineering teams find and adopt cloud mobile development. Limrun gives cloud agents the infrastructure they need to build, run, test, and ship iOS and Android apps. We're hiring an SDR to find the right companies, start informed conversations, and create qualified opportunities for our sales team.
Why Limrun
Limrun is building a new category, so the SDR work goes beyond running a fixed sequence against a purchased list. You'll work directly with the founder and early GTM team to decide which accounts matter, learn what earns a response from technical buyers, and turn those lessons into a repeatable outbound motion.
Limrun is already in production at platforms like Replit, Rork, Minitap, Momentic. We are backed by investors including CRV, Y Combinator, and Eniac Ventures.
As an early sales hire, your work will be visible in the pipeline and the product conversations that follow. There is room to take on broader sales responsibility as you learn the product and show consistent judgment.
The role
You'll own the top of the funnel. That means researching accounts and contacts, reaching out with relevant messages, qualifying initial interest, and arranging meetings with enough context for an Account Executive or founder to take the opportunity forward. The quality of the handoff matters more than raw activity.
What you'll do
Build target-account lists across AI app-building platforms, mobile engineering organizations adopting cloud agents, internal developer-platform teams, and testing or QA companies.
Find the people closest to the problem, including engineering executives, developer-experience and platform leaders, mobile engineering leaders, and senior technical champions.
Research each account and write outreach based on its mobile products, agent initiatives, infrastructure needs, and likely buying triggers.
Run outbound across email, LinkedIn, phone, warm introductions, and other channels that you test and measure.
Respond quickly to inbound interest and qualify the use case, urgency, technical context, stakeholders, and next step.
Book qualified meetings and give the Account Executive or founder a clear handoff: who is involved, what problem they are trying to solve, why it matters now, and what was agreed.
Keep Salesforce accurate and maintain disciplined follow-up. Document outreach experiments, account progress, and results so the team can learn from them.
Learn Limrun well enough to explain the product accurately to technical buyers and avoid promising capabilities that are not available.
How you'll use AI and automation
You'll help build the workflows behind the outbound work as well as run them. Use AI and practical automation to improve research, data quality, and follow-up, with human review of the facts and messages.
Build repeatable account-research and contact-enrichment workflows. Check information across sources, remove duplicates, and verify contact details before outreach.
Monitor public buying signals such as relevant hiring, team changes, developer discussions, and product announcements. Record the source and explain why the signal makes an account worth contacting now.
Write and test targeted outreach sequences, and set up the workflows that keep follow-up timely. Adjust them based on replies and prospect activity; check AI-generated claims and personalization before sending.
Work with the founder and engineering team on email-delivery checks and small messaging or landing-page experiments. Use approved tools and respect opt-outs and platform rules.
Connect outreach sources and experiments to qualified meetings and opportunities in Salesforce. Use results and patterns in won customers to improve account selection, rather than judging success by send volume alone.
What we're looking for
You've personally created pipeline through outbound prospecting, ideally for an early-stage technology company or a product that did not have an established brand.
You can write short, specific outreach and speak confidently with technical prospects.
You are curious enough to learn a developer product, understand a prospect's workflow, and ask useful follow-up questions.
You take ownership, ask for feedback, and are willing to do hands-on research, prospecting, calling, and follow-up every day.
You are organized about CRM records, next steps, and follow-through.
You care about qualified meetings and real buying signals, not activity counts that do not turn into opportunities.
We care more about what you personally tried, learned, and produced than about titles or years of experience.
Nice to have, not required
Experience selling developer tools, cloud infrastructure, AI development products, or another technical product.
Experience prospecting to CTOs, engineering leaders, developer-experience teams, platform teams, or mobile engineering organizations.
Experience working in a startup where pipeline had to be created without a large marketing team.
Familiarity with Salesforce and modern account-research or outbound tools.
What we offer
Ownership of the outbound and qualification process at an early stage.
Direct collaboration with the founder, the early GTM team, and the engineers building the product.
A San Francisco office in South Park, with relocation support.
Regular team offsites.

Send us your resume or LinkedIn profile. In 4-6 sentences, describe one outbound campaign or prospecting motion you personally ran.
