Credence has an immediate need for a Security Specialist (Generalist) is a mission-essential position required to provide competing operational demands alongside increased day-to-day administrative and regulatory security requirements. This position is responsible for administering the core Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), and Industrial Security (INDSEC) programs within the Security & Program Protection Directorate on behalf of the PM. This will enable the security team to be more responsive to PM Staff and Product Management Office requests for support, as well as allow the government personnel assigned to the Security & Program Protection Directorate to focus on the more substantive aspects of managing the PM PNT multidisciplinary security program.
Responsible but not limited to:
Initiates, reviews, and processes security clearance actions using DISS. Process and manage incoming and outgoing visit requests through DISS, ensuring seamless clearance verification and physical access control.
Serves as the primary coordinator for day-to-day on-site physical security matters, managing facility access controls, alarm response coordination, and compliance with government physical security standards.
Conducts in- and out-processing for all arriving and departing personnel; administers initial, annual, and specialized security training, security-related indoctrinations, and official debriefings for all assigned program personnel.
Provides security input and guidance into all phases of the contracting lifecycle (Pre-solicitation, Source Selection, Award, Execution, and Closeout).
Drafts, reviews, updates, and certifies DD Form 254s (DoD Contract Security Classification Specification), tracking contractor compliance through the National Industrial Security System (NISS).
Assist in the implementation of various plans to include OPSEC, Emergency Action, Antiterrorism (AT), and Security Policies and Procedures for safeguarding Classified information.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or systems engineering field with ten years’ (10) experience, or a Master’s degree with eight years’ (8) experience in systems engineering for DoD systems
Must be able to assist with the administration and implementation of policy-compliant information security (INFOSEC), physical security (PHYSEC), personnel security (PERSEC), industrial security (INDSEC), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and security education, training, and awareness (SETA) programs
Must be able to administer and manage the day-to-day facility security operations of unclassified, collateral, and SCI Facility (SCIF) IAW all applicable DoD security policies, Army regulations, local security SOPs
Must be able to maintain PERSEC records within the Government provided database; process documentation to initiate PERSEC background investigation requests; process visit certifications through the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) prior to visits occurring; provide verification of PERSEC clearance information to PM PNT at least one business day prior to visit; track, gather, analyze, and compile data into reports for PM PNT security programs; coordinate the issuance and maintenance of local security credentials or badges IAW the Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) campus security SOP; process visitor requests and escort visitors IAW local site visitor/access control SOPs; conduct annual security self-inspections IAW security SOP and assist with the development and implementation of corrective action plans as a result of the security inspections.

Must have an Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or possess an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI access.
Salary Range: $110,000- $150,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, education, skills, and overall qualifications.
