This is a unique chance. You will tackle deep engineering challenges with a clear, direct impact on client experience and Wise’s financials.

How do we work?
At Wise, we work in autonomous, cross-functional teams. As a Senior Engineering Lead, you will work in a highly collaborative environment, partnering closely with Product Managers, Analysts, Data Scientists and key stakeholders in our Treasury, Finance, Pricing teams. Together, you will define the strategy, shape the roadmap, and deliver impactful solutions that advance our mission.

What will you be working on?

Strengthen our foundational scaling strategy, allowing us to operate with greater agility and confidence as we grow.
Controlled and Intelligent Scalability: Engineer sophisticated, fine-grained control mechanisms to manage liquidity utilization effectively. Ensure the rapid processing of high-value transactions while maintaining robust, strategic controls to manage flow as needed.
Automated Investment and Risk Management Tooling: Develop systems to enable investment of surplus cash while adhering to strict risk and regulatory parameters.
Collaborate with data scientists and help develop machine learning to forecast future cash inflows and outflows across all currencies and jurisdictions with high accuracy, enabling proactive and optimal cash positioning and minimizing idle balances.
