Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Robotics Platform (F/M/D)

Employment: Full-time Experience: Mid-Senior level The Opportunity As a Senior Software Engineer at Animore, you will build and operate the web services and tooling that let our AI/ML teams train and benchmark models at scale. You will also work across our data farm - the software that runs on the robots themselves, the services that collect data from them, and the tooling we use to manage and monitor our fleet of 100+ data collection stations. You will take ownership of one or more services end to end - from design through deployment and day-to-day operation in the cloud - working closely with team leads, data farm managers, and AI/ML engineers to turn real operational needs into reliable, well-built software. You’ll work across the full stack, from Python services and infrastructure to the web interfaces our teams use every day. Your Responsibilities Design, build, and operate web services and tooling supporting the training, benchmarking and management of models Build intuitive web interfaces (TypeScript/React) for internal tools, fleet monitoring, and model management Design, build and operate the data-collection software that runs on the robots in our data-farm Design, build and operate tooling to manage and monitor our fleet of 100+ data collection stations Own services end-to-end - from architecture and implementation through deployment and cloud operations Work closely with team leads, data farm managers, and AI/ML engineers to translate their workflows and processes into working services Build reliable, well-tested backend systems in Python, backed by SQL databases Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployment workflows (Docker/Kubernetes) Improve service reliability, observability, and developer experience as usage and scale grow Technologies Python / Fast API Postgresql Docker / Kubernetes CI/CD in Gitlab REST APIs Bazel Typescript/React GCP Requirements Must Have Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience 7+ years building and operating web applications as a full-stack engineer, with strong experience in both backend and frontend Strong Python skills and experience working with SQL databases Hands-on experience building production frontends with TypeScript and React Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience leading projects or mentoring other engineers Proactive and ownership-driven, comfortable switching context across services and priorities Able to dive into unfamiliar domains autonomously and turn ambiguous processes into working software What would make you stand out Experience with Bazel Experience with GCP Experience with FastAPI Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Experience with distributed systems, microservices, gRPC/REST APIs Experience with NoSQL databases Experience with messaging systems (Pub/Sub) Experience using IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible Benefits Competitive compensation package Various employee subsidies and perks, including public transportation and Wellpass Work with a world-class team in a flat hierarchy, with direct collaboration alongside the founders and engineering team Opportunity to make a real impact by working on cutting-edge robotics and AI systems Fast growth potential in a rapidly evolving company and industry International office environment with English as the official working language Recruiting Process Your recruiting partner for this role is Madhulika (she/her).
