We’re a fast-growing team with a passion for innovation, security, and scalability. Our culture values curiosity, collaboration, and impact - and we’re looking for talented professionals who are ready to shape the future of fintech.
At COLIBRIX ONE, your work directly powers the digital economy. If you're eager to solve meaningful challenges and build with purpose, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Senior Account Manager at Colibrix One, you'll take full ownership of our most complex and strategically important merchant relationships. Beyond managing a larger portfolio, you'll act as a go-to expert within the Account Management team: mentoring colleagues, sharing best practices, and helping raise the standard of client service across the team. This is a senior individual contributor role, ideal for an experienced fintech professional who wants to deepen their impact without moving into formal people management.
Key Responsibilities:
Own a portfolio of high-value, high-volume, and complex merchants, acting as their trusted advisor and single point of contact across finance, compliance, and operations
Lead onboarding of complex or higher-risk merchants, including in-depth document review and close collaboration with Compliance on enhanced due diligence
Handle escalations and sensitive client situations, driving them to resolution and protecting long-term relationships
Identify growth opportunities within your portfolio (upsell, cross-sell, volume expansion) and contribute to client retention and revenue targets
Monitor portfolio performance and client health, proactively flagging risks and proposing action plans
Mentor and coach Account Managers: support them with difficult cases, share knowledge, and help new team members ramp up
Contribute to training materials, internal playbooks, and onboarding guides for the team
Act as the voice of the client internally, feeding insights to Product, Compliance, and Operations to shape improvements and new solutions
Challenge existing processes and lead initiatives that improve efficiency and client experience
Ensure the client database and account records for your portfolio are accurate and up to date
Your Profile:
Strong client-first mindset with a track record of building long-term B2B relationships
Confident communicator, able to negotiate, influence, and hold difficult conversations with senior client stakeholders
Natural mentor who enjoys helping others grow and sharing expertise
Strategic and analytical thinker, comfortable working with data to assess portfolio performance
High level of autonomy: able to manage a complex workload and make sound decisions independently
Proactive and solution-oriented, with the confidence to challenge established norms
What you need to succeed in this role:
2+ years' experience in account management or a similar client-facing role within a regulated entity (payments, banking, or fintech)
Proven experience managing key or strategic accounts, including complex merchant onboarding
Solid understanding of payments products, merchant risk, and compliance requirements (KYC/KYB, AML)
Experience mentoring or informally coaching colleagues is a strong advantage
Higher education in Business Management, Economics, or a related field is an advantage
Excellent written communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly
Fluency in English and Russian (additional languages are an asset)
What We Offer:
Opportunity to shape the future of fintech solutions within a growing company
A collaborative and supportive team environment
English / Spanish classes
Opportunity to receive reimbursement for work-related training/courses
* This position is offered within the COLIBRIX ONE. Employment will be under the appropriate legal entity based on the role and location.
