Senior Mobile Engineer

Where you come in We're looking for an experienced Mobile Engineer at Chowdeck who'll be responsible for building the mobile interfaces through which customers interact with our products. We have three mobile apps: the customer app, where people order food; our vendors' app, used by restaurants; and the Rider's app, used by delivery drivers. We use React Native and JavaScript but also leverage native APIs for deep integrations. In this role you'll be required to: Build and maintain features on one or more of our three mobile apps for customers, vendors and riders Build app and UI components from prototypes and wireframes Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both major mobile platforms, iOS and Android. Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms when necessary Continuously Improve front-end performance by eliminating performance bottlenecks. Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks so our apps feel as native as possible. Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure our products are of the highest quality. Work with engineers across the company to build and maintain new features at large-scale. Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
