Senior QA Test Engineer, LEM

ABOUT THE ROLE We are hiring a Senior QA Test Engineer for Litmus Edge Manager (LEM), the product our customers use to manage large fleets of edge devices. You will own test automation for LEM in our Pune team. You will build and grow the Playwright test suite in TypeScript, keep it running in CI, and cover new features as they ship. The work splits about 90% automation and 10% manual testing, so this is an automation role first. You will work day to day with the LEM QA lead in Pune and with the LEM development team. LEM QA ownership is moving to Pune now, so the way this product is tested is still being shaped and your work will set that standard. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Build and maintain end to end UI and API tests for LEM with Playwright and TypeScript • Grow automation coverage release by release, starting with the flows that carry the most risk • Keep the suite running in CI, look into failures, and fix flaky tests instead of muting them • Write and maintain LEM test cases in Xray and link them to Jira, so coverage per release is visible • Use our AI assisted test generation tooling to draft test cases and Playwright specs, then review and correct the output • Join tickets early and check the acceptance criteria are clear enough to automate against • Run the automated regression suite for LEM releases and report the results, including LEM and Litmus Edge integration checks WHAT YOU'LL BRING Must Have • Minimum 3 years of automation testing experience, inside 5+ years in software testing • Strong TypeScript or JavaScript, and hands on experience with Playwright (Cypress or Selenium is fine if you are ready to move to Playwright) • REST API testing, and comfortable working on Linux • Hands on with virtual machines: building, snapshotting and restoring test environments on your own • Experience running automated tests in a CI/CD pipeline, and with a test management tool such as Xray Nice to Have • Experience with AI assisted test generation or other AI tooling for QA • Docker • Kubernetes • Background in industrial IoT, edge or device management products • Performance testing experience, JMeter or similar
