Senior Software Architect (m/f/d)

Then this role could be exactly right for you: You analyze existing systems and develop solutions for modernization and further development You design and implement new software components based on Java (e.g. with Quarkus) You develop and integrate synchronous (e.g. REST/JSON) and asynchronous interfaces (e.g. Kafka) into existing system landscapes You actively contribute to system integration as well as integration and system testing You work closely with customers and business departments in technical and functional coordination You plan and support sprints (planning, reviews) in an agile environment You create and prioritize user stories together with stakeholders Your profile Here's the required qualifications you bring: Several years of experience (approx. 5+ years) in software development with Java Confident handling of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, DB2) Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit, Mockito, WireMock) Familiarity with modern development processes (Git, code reviews, CI/CD) Experience with cloud environments (e.g. Azure) and REST interfaces is a plus Knowledge of bill-of-materials systems, e.g. from mechanical or automotive engineering, is a plus but not required Your personal strengths: Analytical and structured thinking Independent, self-organized way of working Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork Enthusiasm for taking on responsibility and supporting your team both technically and professionally Willingness to be on-site once a week for our team day at the office Fluent German and English skills Your benefits Market-competitive compensation, flexible working hours, working time account, and part-time models for maximum work-life balance.
