Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic problem solvers to join us in scaling our platform, to digitalise businesses in Europe, uplift rider livelihoods and build a hyper-convenient platform for our customers. If you love working with technology to create solutions and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done, you will find your tribe here at Delivery Hero. Our diverse and high-performing team comprises people from more than 60 nationalities, and we welcome all experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives. Up for an exciting new career?
We are currently in search of a highly driven and strategic Senior Specialist, Chief International Office (CIO) to be part of our regional team (APAC and Europe/Turkey) and oversee Europe. The CIO Office works closely with country and regional leaders to achieve our key objectives, with a strong focus on growth, P&L metrics and solving key challenges.

Responsibilities:
Understand markets’ challenges in-depth, and how to best support them; define and implement countries' strategy in close cooperation with respective Country CEOs/Managing Directors
Analyze country P&Ls and identify opportunities to improve the profitability and productivity of assigned markets.
Lead selected regional cross-functional projects across topics such as customer experience, operating model, ways of working, etc.
Support budget planning and resource allocation discussions through analysis and recommendations to help meet growth and profitability targets
Prepare strategic analyses and recommendations to inform leadership discussions on strategic goals, funding, and return on investment
Drive coordination, analysis, progress tracking, and follow-up for the company’s OKR process
Actively engage and participate in key regular touchpoints: performance updates, financial reviews, budgeting & strategy, etc.
Lead workstreams aimed at improving customer, rider, and vendor performance and experience
Help develop, track, and execute investment proposals for strategic initiatives in partnership with country and regional stakeholders
Qualifications
Requirements:
4-6 years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, or similar roles
Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/technology environments
We're looking for people bringing a rare combination of strategic thinking and implementation drive
A mix of consulting experience (or comparable) and a track record of outstanding achievements in business, with international exposure, would be ideal
Great interpersonal relationships, as this highly-exposed role involves cooperation with countries and multiple functions in the regional and global teams
Willingness, and more so a desire to build from scratch is needed
While this a general management role, an expertise on a particular aspect of our business (notably marketing, operations, commercial, and/or finance) is a strong plus
Strong analytical skills, again combined with a bias for action
Comfortable in reading & interpreting financial documents, especially country P&Ls and investment proposals, and deriving actions from them
Clear, crisp and actionable communication
Team player. We build teams around the strong belief that excellence comes from both great output and a great attitude
