ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Carrier Account Manager is an invaluable bridge between important enterprise insurance carrier clients and our internal team. You will lead the strategy, health, and outcomes of a portfolio of carrier relationships, combining proactive account leadership with hands-on solutioning and execution. Reporting to the Carrier Account Team Manager, you will join a motivated, fun-loving team serving our carrier client base. You will work with stakeholders ranging from operators to executives and partner across Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Growth, and other teams. This is a US-based remote role, with occasional travel to important clients. The total cash compensation range is $104,000-$156,000 (including bonus). Additionally, the total compensation package will include equity and benefits. Within the range, additional factors, including job-related experience, determine individual pay. YOU WILL: - Manage a portfolio of carrier relationships as the primary strategic and technical contact - Create carrier-specific plans aligned with our goals - Build trusted relationships across operational, senior, and executive partners - Troubleshoot operational, data, and integration issues, providing first-line diagnosis and escalating to Product/Engineering when needed - Lead technical implementations and other carrier projects from planning through post-launch -- managing requirements, dependencies, coordination, and communication -- including tracking agreed commitments and deliverables - Balance carrier needs with company priorities, advocating internally or proposing alternatives - Identify retention risks, product gaps, market insights, and opportunities to expand carrier partnerships - Strengthen the broader team by documenting processes, sharing knowledge, and training teammates   YOU HAVE: - 4+ years of experience working in account management, sales, or comparable role - Experience owning strategic client plans and leading technical implementations or integrations - Experience translating technical concepts (APIs, data flows) for non-technical audiences - Experience managing a high-volume workload - Experience strategizing and implementing large-scale goals and projects - Bonus: Startup experience, specifically with SaaS solutions or technical products - Bonus: Experience with the ACA/health insurance industry - Bonus: Experience collaborating with Director- and VP-level partners WHAT WE OFFER (FULL-TIME, NOT TEMPORARY/NOT SEASONAL) - Remote-first company (US-based remote only) - Great compensation package at a high-growth, profitable company - Excellent benefits package that includes health, vision, and dental coverage for you, your spouse, and dependents - HSA/FSA options with corresponding contribution limits - Monthly grocery stipend and home internet reimbursement - 401K w/ a match after a grace period - Life and AD&D coverage - Disability insurance (Short and Long Term) - Parental leave - Four (4) weeks of paid vacation in addition to paid holidays - Home office budget for remote team members - Mental health and other wellbeing support programs through a partner network As an organization, we value creating an inclusive and accessible experience.
