Senior Technical Application Engineer

Employment: Full-time Experience: Mid-Senior level Do you understand pension administration and want to explore how the technology behind it works? Or are you a developer who wants to understand the pension processes your software supports? Join Keylane and help operate and improve Plexus across our private Keylane Cloud and Microsoft Azure. Key about your role You will connect functional knowledge of pension administration with technical application management and a serious interest in automating the work we do. By understanding both the business process, the technical side off the application and the application itself, you will help colleagues and customers identify why issues occur and how to resolve them. You will: Investigate Plexus issues by tracing pension back-office processes through application behaviour, logs and SQL database queries. Work with SQL databases and Red Hat Linux environments to diagnose application and data issues, involving database and platform specialists where needed. Support Plexus environments hosted on our private Keylane Cloud and on Azure, working with the teams responsible for each platform. Coordinate application releases and maintenance, and verify that affected pension processes work correctly after changes. Translate functional problems into clear technical findings and explain the business impact of technical issues. Use scripts and practical documentation to make recurring support tasks easier and more reliable. Take a senior role in complex investigations, share your knowledge and help colleagues develop their approach to problem solving. Key about your team You will work with colleagues supporting Plexus and collaborate with functional specialists, developers and cloud operations teams. Together, you will connect the details of pension administration with the technical work needed to support the application. Requirements We welcome two professional backgrounds: Functional experience with a pension back-office system, combined with a serious interest in technology and a willingness to learn how applications, databases and operating environments work. Software development experience, combined with an interest in the business side of pension administration and a willingness to learn how pension processes are supported in Plexus. Whichever route you bring, you can demonstrate the judgement and ownership expected of a senior colleague. You can work independently, recognize when specialist input is needed and help others move an investigation forward. You also bring: Ideally 5 + years' experience in the field A structured approach to investigation, with the ability to connect business symptoms, application behavior and data. The ability to explain complex issues clearly in English and work effectively with technical and functional colleagues. An interest in hands-on application support and in developing your SQL and Red Hat Linux skills. Experience with SQL databases, Linux, scripting or cloud-hosted applications is an advantage. Familiarity with Azure or Plexus is welcome. You do not need to arrive with equal depth in pension administration and technology. You should be ready to build the connection between them and apply your experience to real customer situations. Using AI You use AI-assisted tools with care when exploring technical questions, preparing scripts or documenting solutions. Salary: For this role, the Monthly Base Salary ranges from 50.000 – 60.000 (DKK), corresponding to the level of the position.
