Senior Test Engineer

Employment: Full-time Experience level: Mid-Senior Level Job Description This role is an experienced individual contributor position requiring solid hands-on expertise in ATE test development, product validation, and debugging. The candidate will contribute to the development of reliable and cost-effective test solutions, working closely with more senior engineers while progressively increasing autonomy on complex tasks. For this role you are expected to provide and own the schedule on problems of a diverse scope, with occasional guidance.  Renesas Electronics, a leading global semiconductor company, is rapidly scaling investing in  power delivery business. Products include Point of loads (POL), Hotswap/Efuse, drivers. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain  ATE test programs and hardware  for analog, mixed-signal, and power management products Execute  test plan implementation , ensuring required test coverage and quality targets Support  product bring-up, characterization, and validation activities Perform  debug and failure analysis  on ATE systems and bench setups Analyze test data to identify issues and improve  yield and test stability Work closely with  Design and Product Engineering teams  to resolve technical problems Support  production ramp and sustaining engineering activities Contribute to  test time and cost optimization efforts Follow established  DFT methodologies and test standards Key Competencies Strong execution and hands-on approach Good problem-solving and debugging capability Ability to work in team environments with increasing autonomy Attention to detail and quality focus Willingness to learn and grow technically   Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering 3–6+ years of experience  in test engineering or related field Experience with  ATE platforms  (COHU DMDX, STS8300 is a plus) Basic understanding of  DFT concepts and production test flows Experience in  debugging analog and mixed-signal circuits Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer) Programming skills in  C/C++, Python, or similar Basic knowledge of  data analysis and statistical methods Additional Information Renesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider driven by its Purpose ‘ To Make Our Lives Easier .’ As the industry’s leading expert in embedded processing with unmatched quality and system-level know-how, we have evolved to provide scalable and comprehensive semiconductor solutions for automotive, industrial, infrastructure, and IoT industries based on the broadest product portfolio, including High Performance Computing, Embedded Processing, Analog & Connectivity, and Power.   With a diverse team of over 21,000 professionals in more than 30 countries, we continue to expand our boundaries to offer enhanced user experiences through digitalization and usher into a new era of innovation.
