Software Development Engineer Testing

Employment: Full-time Experience: Mid-Senior level Education: Bachelor's Degree Qualifications : Key Responsibilities: Execute manual test cases and report defects accurately to the development team. Assist in developing, maintaining, and running automated test scripts for functional and regression testing. Participate in requirements analysis to understand and clarify product features and test objectives. Perform API testing using tools like Postman or equivalent. Log, track, and verify defects in a defect management system (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Collaborate with team members to improve test coverage and processes. Document test plans, test cases, and testing results. Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies in QA. Requirements Responsibilities : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools. Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, C# or JavaScript). Exposure to testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent (academic experience is acceptable). Knowledge of version control tools like Git is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins is a plus. Basic knowledge of database queries (e.g., SQL).
