Role overview:
As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Oviva's B2B content marketing strategy to drive NHS GP referrals, raise brand awareness and support business growth. You will create compelling, evidence-based content across multiple channels, work on the Oviva website and its SEO performance, own the patient testimonials workstream and lead the coordination of our in-person events. Working closely with the Marketing Lead, you will ensure all content is aligned to Oviva's brand, mission, and audience needs.
Job requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in B2B and content marketing within the healthcare sector.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills across multiple formats (email, blogs, case studies, web pages).
- Experience planning and managing events, including conferences, stands, and sponsorship.
- Hands-on experience managing websites using WordPress (or a similar CMS), with working knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience producing or managing podcast and/or video content, or similar.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analysing campaign performance and translating insights into strategy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working across clinical, product, and commercial teams, as well as external agencies
Desirable:
- Experience working with the NHS including GP Networks and PCNs.
- Familiarity with lead generation strategies and marketing automation best practices
- Experience using email marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar).
Job responsibilities
Content Strategy & Execution
- Design, develop, and deliver creative content strategies for B2B marketing campaigns that align with Oviva's annual goals and audience needs.
- Create high-quality, impactful content across multiple formats, including email campaigns, blog posts, case studies, and web pages.
- Repurpose and adapt content across channels and formats (including AI-assisted workflows) to maximise reach and efficiency.
Website & SEO
• Maintain the Oviva website via WordPress, including landing pages, content updates and UX improvements.
• Develop the B2B SEO strategy (keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical basics) to grow organic search traffic and inbound enquiries.
Event Organisation
- Lead the end-to-end organisation of industry conferences, including identification of sponsorship opportunities, merchandise, stand design and staffing coordination.
Podcast & Video
- Manage the filming and production of patient stories for Oviva's social media channels and website, and work on ur GP-facing podcast series - developing future episodes, identifying opportunities to grow the format, and shaping the distribution strategy to maximise reach across relevant channels.
Collaboration and Brand Alignment:
- Partner with the clinical, product and service engagement teams to ensure all content aligns with Oviva's messaging and brand guidelines, and meets the needs of the target audience.
Performance Analysis:
- Track SEO metrics and other key marketing indicators to generate insights that inform strategic decision-making.
Industry Awareness:
- Stay updated on trends and best practices in B2B marketing and content creation within healthcare and technology sectors, leveraging this knowledge to refine Oviva's strategies, ensure content relevance, and drive innovative approaches to engagement and lead generation..
