Credence has an upcoming need for a Strategy and Campaign Planner to support the U.S. Space Force S4S S53 Plans Division at Vandenberg SFB, California. The planner will apply operational art, operational design, and the Joint Planning Process to develop and assess support plans; lead and participate in OPTs; develop mission analysis, COA, wargaming, and contingency plan products; and integrate adversary-specific information into planning and targeting processes.
Responsibilities
Create, execute, and administratively maintain OPTs supporting plan development and assessment and participate in OPT execution as directed by S5 leadership.
Develop and maintain S4S support plans using operational art, operational design, and the Joint Planning Process.
Research and analyze combatant-command, Joint, and Service-component plans and recommend courses of action, refinements, and updates for S5 support plans.
Develop mission-analysis products, courses of action and COA analysis, wargaming products, and contingency-plan documentation for Government review and approval.
Analyze and integrate adversary-specific information into plans and targeting processes, including development and maintenance of critical asset lists and coordination of inputs from other combatant commands.
Coordinate staffing packages that summarize planning issues and provide actionable recommendations in accordance with Command, Directorate, and Division guidance.
Represent S5 and S53 at Command and multi-directorate planning, training, exercise, and Chief of Staff events.
Prepare and review internal and external documents, manage TMT taskings on NIPRNet and SIPRNet, and travel to CONUS and OCONUS planning conferences and events as required.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Current Top-Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI, ACCM, and SAP is required before starting.
Must have substantial experience with operational art, operational design, the Joint Planning Process, and combatant-command or Service-component planning.
Must have experience organizing and supporting OPTs and developing support plans, mission-analysis products, COAs, wargaming products, and contingency plans.
Must have the ability to research and analyze strategic and operational guidance, identify planning implications, and develop concise recommendations for senior leaders.
Must have strong writing, briefing, collaboration, and task-management skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint planning products.
Must have the ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS planning events.
Must have a bachelor's degree or more.
