About Role The Workplace Operat ions Manager is responsible for facilitating an exceptional office experience, providing operational support with a strong focus on customer service . You will work in collaboration with the Global Real Estate team to provide and maintain a top tier facility and employee experience . This role will be based in New York Ci ty and will oversee offices in New York and Philadelphia . What You'll Do Serves as the first point of contact, and face of the Global Real Estate team in your local office . Facilitates an ongoing delightful employee ex perience by providing operational support and maintaining a well organized, visually pleasing facility . Assists in maintaining an d enhancing the Workplace programs (ex: mailroom operations, internal events, food and beverage programs, etc.) . Build an active relationship with business partners and leaders to assess team allocations and occupancy needs as well as conference room usage . Provide proactive solutions, and improvement ideas through observation . Maintain spatial data within the space management tool and ensure accuracy of information . Participate with building audits to verify employee locations, furniture layout and room configurations are correctly noted in the space management tool . Coord inate with the Space Planning to maintain space standard ratios for on/offline rooms and office standards and solutions, as well as define space related programs to improve team member experience . Facilitates and maintains relation ships with building vendors, such as landlord, food and beverage partners, etc . Maintain budgets and track expenses for multiple different areas of the business . Acts as the single point of contact for all building related issues . Facilitates connecting employees to all aspects of the broader Verkada Business Operations teams . Other site specific duties and support may be required . What You Bring A passion for providin g exceptional customer service through human connection and ongoing operations support . 5+ years of management experience or related project managem ent experience . 5+ years of workplace services experience . Strong interpersonal and co mmunication skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments, work collaboratively . Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to priorit ize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and ever-changing priorities . Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, FLS, plumbing, etc.) is strongly encouraged . Strong financial acumen with solid understanding of budget tracking & maintenance . Must be willing and able t o work onsite five days per week . Annual Pay Range At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs) Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
