Employment: Full-time Experience level: Mid-Senior Level Job Description Billing Operations Manager - Tieto Indtech (m/f/d)  Location: Norway  |  Nordic scope  Ready to take ownership of business-critical billing operations and make them smarter, simpler and more scalable?  We are looking for a hands-on Billing Operations Manager to join Tieto Indtech. In this role, you will own our Norwegian billing and forecasting operations while helping us improve and harmonize the way we work across the Nordic region.  This is not a traditional back-office accounting role. You will combine operational precision with process improvement, automation and close collaboration across Finance, Sales, Product and Implementation. Your work will directly support accurate revenue, efficient operations and a strong customer experience.  When joining Tieto Indtech as a Billing Operations Manager, you will:  Operations (60%)  Own and manage invoicing and revenue forecasting for our Norwegian operations  Handle recurring, annual and usage-based billing across cloud and on-premise solutions  Ensure accurate billing data and support month-end closing and revenue reporting  Investigate discrepancies and strengthen financial controls and data quality  Process optimization and strategic improvement (40%)  Identify bottlenecks and improve billing and forecasting workflows  Drive automation through system enhancements, integrations and practical AI-enabled solutions  Create clear procedures and documentation that support consistency and scale  Collaborate across functions and contribute to harmonized billing practices across Nordic markets  Support the development and implementation of new billing models  Who we are looking for  You enjoy combining structure, accuracy and ownership with curiosity and continuous improvement. You are comfortable working hands-on with operational details while keeping sight of the wider business impact. You spot issues before they grow, collaborate well across functions and turn ideas into practical improvements. You thrive in an environment where priorities can change and where accuracy, initiative and follow-through matter.  3-5 years of experience in billing operations, revenue accounting or financial process management  Hands-on experience with invoicing systems, ERP solutions or billing platforms  A solid understanding of revenue recognition and order-to-cash processes  Strong Excel and data analysis skills  Experience managing complex workflows involving several stakeholders  An interest in automation, AI tools and technology-enabled process improvement  Fluency in English and in Norwegian, Swedish or Danish  We also believe you have  Experience from SaaS, cloud services or subscription-based business models  A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field  Experience working in an international or multi-market environment  We offer  We offer you professional growth, meaningful work, an open culture and a strong focus on work-life balance.
